Greg Morose

Greg Morose, a Senior Consultant at Pure Strategies, has over twenty years of experience in engineering, management consulting, and environmental research. Greg has also taught Sustainable Product Design courses at the University of Massachusetts and Tufts University.
For the past eight years, Greg has worked at the Toxics Use Reduction Institute and the Lowell Center for Sustainable Production at the University of Massachusetts Lowell. He is a certified Toxics Use Reduction Planner and has conducted several comprehensive investigations of alternatives to products containing toxic substances such as mercury, lead, and brominated flame retardants. Greg was also the project manager for the New England Lead-Free Electronics Consortium. This consortium is a collaborative effort of the University of Massachusetts Lowell and fifteen electronics companies to research, test, and evaluate lead-free materials for use in electronics products.
Previously, Greg had seven years of consulting experience for KPMG’s management consulting practice. During this time, Greg delivered project management, business process improvement, and technology implementation projects for clients in manufacturing, healthcare, and financial services. Greg also has seven years of industry experience in design, manufacturing, and sales engineering positions.
Greg has a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, a Master’s of Science degree in Environmental Studies, a Master’s of Business Administration degree, and a Doctoral degree in Cleaner Production and Pollution Prevention. Greg is also an ASQ certified Six Sigma Black Belt.
